I have never been to London, but it’s calling me in February. I’m not quite sure what to expect. I know I’ll see more history than I ever have in my life. Maybe I’ll see the Queen or other royalty (I seriously doubt it). I’m imagining I’ll eat fish-n-chips and drink tea (do they really have “tea time”?). Hopefully I’ll find a pub and throw back a pint or two. I’d even love to see “real” football (now I just need to find someone with tickets).
Join me in London for THE global recruiting unconference of the year! Hosted by Bill Boorman and Geoff Webb, TRULondon 2 on February 18- 19 will be several days of learning and collaboration. I love the unconference format and this will be an event where you can join in the conversation on recruiting, talent management, HR technology, and a wide array of human resource topics. I’m sure you’ll be able to question, agree with, and debate with some of the best cutting-edge recruiting and HR professionals today.
I’ll be a track leader for several tracks such as ‘Battle of the Bloggers‘, ‘Talent Wars‘, ‘HR Revolution‘, and ‘HR and Gen Z‘. I’ll be joined by Laurie Ruettimann, Steve Boese, Andy Headworth, Jon Ingham, Jason Davis, Allen Whitford, Sarah White, and many other outstanding pros from around the globe.
Be sure to check out the TRUconferences site for more information. Then, register for the event here.
See you in London!

See you in London! Looking forward to a great event!
I’m SO jealous! London is one of my favorite (or perhaps favourite?) cities on earth. Did I mention I was jealous?
@Benjamin- I know I’ll freeze but I’m excited because I have never been there. Hope I pick up some British slang while I’m there.
@Shennee- Thank you. I plan to share a lot on Twitter and via blog. 🙂
@Steve- It will be a blast for sure. Can’t wait to see you.
@Joan- Hey, anytime you want to go and need a travel friend, keep me in mind.
Missed out on both Clash and Queen in the 1980s, was busy raising kids and running a business. Really nice to get this youtube link. See u on the 18th!
