Everything in life is temporary:

work

health

happiness

success

relationships

The best part is that sadness, despair, and failure are temporary too.  Embrace life.

  • I am a contributing writer for an HR career guide and I was surfing around stressed out looking for hot topics in HR to write about when I was stopped in my tracks by your post. Thanks for giving me a quick and powerful jolt and some perspective.

  • Not everything is temporary. Your sense of self, your principles, and the love for your children.

Sometimes that’s what you hang on to in order to endure the rest.

  • When I have gone through tough times, I always say to myself that the tough time will be over with so much longer than it went on.

I will add one thing to your thought: the only constant in life is the fact that everything changes constantly.
