Excellent question! Most employee motivation is about more than just retaining the workers, it’s about keeping them engaged in the pursuit of organisational goals. Great leaders attract and inspire talented contributors who successfully aspire as a group to achieve the purpose of the organisation through strategic process.

Best of luck with the new blog. I look forward to your refreshing perspective on a misunderstood art.
Time off. You can’t pay me more, give me more time off. That’s what Puf says.
Wow. I’m starting a new job on Monday, and I wrote a great post that will be up on the Jobacle.com blog sometime in the next 7 days or so about what your “dream benefits” are. Looks like we’re all thinking of the same sort of topics!
I want a biannual 2-4 week sabbatical to pursue personal interests. That would be refreshing and wonderful!
Thanks for the feedback Ben. We have sabbaticals (one per year after you’re there 4 years) and the people who take advantage of it love it. Does your new job offer them?
Thanks Puf!
Oh, I wish! It would be awesome.
