HRevolution- Creating Our Future

Hot off the heels of a recent conference hosted by a major HR organization, many of the HR participants began blogging and tweeting about what they liked and what they did not like about the conference.  One common theme was there was not enough content about the future of HR.  It lacked significant discussion around how social media and HR intersect and may evolve over the coming years.  With that, the idea of “HRevolution” was born.

What is HRevolution?  It is the idea of having a self-hosted meeting/un-conference for HR bloggers and aspiring bloggers to discuss how social media is affecting all aspects of the HR profession.  There will be HR generalists, HR tech, and recruiters participating.  We’re creating this idea as we go since it has never been done before.  We’re looking for input from bloggers who may want to attend.

Several people have been instrumental in the initial planning.  Thank you to Ben Eubanks (@beneubanks), Mike Owcarz (@MikeOwcarz), Steve Boese  (@sbjet) and Stephanie Lloyd (@StephanieALloyd).
